    NETDEV WATCHDOG transmit timed out, Realtek 8139

    “NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0: transmit timed out” error appears in openSUSE 10.2 Linux after updating the Realtek 8139 driver in Windows XP via Microsoft Update. Problem solved my rolling back the driver update.

    ZEN and YaST Updater Issues, openSUSE 10.2

    Update, Dec 07: Have successfully removed ZENworks/zmd, solving all problems described herein. See post of 12-Dec-07. My happiness with openSUSE 10.2 disappears when the Zen Updater runs.
